When this album is amazing, it's amazing. But thats not what we are here for, we are here for the music videos, and this is a great one. It truely matches the vibe of the song. I love the colors on it, the red of the (cult?) robes that they wear and the only one who isn't wearing red is matt whos just in a trench coat, which makes me think hes just a bystander and isn't in this cult looking thing. I also am so glad that this links up with the story being told with the other MV's like Death and Romance and Image, with the girl from Death and Romance, and the disk machine from Image. AND CLAYMATION I FUCKING LOVE THAT, they go from the eyes of the cult leader (?) (i think it's a cult) to just so claymation, I love the switching of art styles. When she uses the disk machine on her other cult mates to take the disks from them and they start just malfunctioning the cult leader get spooked and run off to what seems like a a salvador dali painting background and it creeps into the next song (cry for me) makes me want another music video. I also want to get into some theory crafting here. With the ammount og god symbolizm here makes me think that the cult leader here is god, with all of the god symbolizm with the biblically accurate angel in the claymation part and the tunnel vision offial audio video on their youtube have another biblically accurate angel for the cover, maybe there is some sort oif godly infulence and in the image MV you see here becoming a god and in the That's My Floor MV is about the fall of the god? Idk where the Death & Romance MV goes into all of this, maybe another helper to make her a god or a harbinger of the fall that is to come? (honestly this album gives me the chills I love it)
This music video gets a 10 out of 10 (anthony fantano rules... kinda) It does everything a great MV does and it hits all the marks for me.
