Watching this video will put you straight into the midwest. I am not from the midwest but I have been their multiple times because of family, and this MV is exactly what it is like. The truck races, the monster trucks, hot dog eating contests, fireworks, and people just hanging out doing stupid shit is unironicly midwest core. This MV actually show the more exciting part of the midwest. When I say NOTHING is happening their, I mean NOTHING is happening their, besides a bunch of bad stuff, and neighboorly hatered to everyone in a town that only has like one thousand people in it (or less if your really unlucky lol ) but underscores other music videos will detail the wild shit that will and does happen in the midwest. The enitre album has lore ( and I LOVE it when there is a story that is interconnected in an album) all of it is connected espesiaclly this song has lore. There was a really good youtube video that I will put here (skip to the second part to learn about the wallsocket lore it is SUCH a good video!) This was the 3rd MV for the albumn and there are so many more, like so many. I love all of them and they all contribute to the lore of the album. My opinion on how this contributes to the lore is to help you visualise what the people in "Wallsocket" (the fictional town that all the lore takes place in) does for fun, since like i said NOTHING happens in the midwest, so they all have to find something to do.
